Home Science Tools Promo Codes & Verified Offers October 2026

Good items, slow shipping

Bought a Forensics Kit. The kit itself was great, good quality materials. But it took over a week to get here, which was a bit annoying. Everything was packed well, though.

Good value overall

I was looking for a good deal on a microscope for my son's science projects and landed on Home Science Tools. I found a 10% off code online, which made a difference on the 'Student Microscope with LED and Batteries'. It arrived in 6 days, a little slower than I hoped, but it was packaged well. The microscope seems sturdy and came with some prepared slides. For the price I paid, I feel it was worth it, especially with the discount.

Reliable for science supplies

I ordered the Dissection Kit (Frog) again this year, and it was just as expected. I've bought from Home Science Tools several times before, and their kits are consistently well-stocked and the specimens are good quality. Shipping was a bit slower this time, took 6 days to get here in Oregon, but it wasn't a huge issue for us. Always come back for their variety and consistency.

Decent value for a chemistry kit

I picked up one of their Chemistry Kits during a seasonal sale. I was looking for something affordable but comprehensive for my son's homeschooling, and this one fit the bill. The price was competitive, especially with the discount I found. Everything arrived well-packaged, and the chemicals were clearly labeled. I wish the curriculum included was a bit more in-depth, but for the price point, it was a good value.

Good microscope, slow support

I bought a student microscope from them a few weeks ago for my daughter's science class. The microscope itself is pretty decent for the price, definitely gets the job done for basic viewing. The order process was smooth enough, and it arrived within the estimated time. I did have a question about one of the prepared slides later on, and customer service took a couple of days to get back to me, which was a little frustrating. Overall, a solid purchase, but their support could be quicker.

Reliable as always

I ordered the Dissection Kit (Advanced) again this year. It's my third time buying it from them. The quality was consistent with my previous orders, which is why I keep coming back. Shipping was pretty fast too, arrived in about 5 days to Phoenix. Good to know I can count on them for these supplies every time.
